Helping the needy in New York on Christmas

On a day when New Yorkers are rushing around, making their lists and checking them twice, some other New Yorkers are living the true meaning of Christmas.

For the last 15 years, Chef Henry Meer of Tribeca's City Hall Restaurant has been opening his doors on Christmas Eve to only those in need. This year single mothers and their children from the Flatlands shelter in Brooklyn and families from the Rockaways who live in affordable housing were invited.

God's Love We Deliver in SoHo is feeding the homeless, the poor, and those with life-altering medical conditions.
