PHILADELPHIA -

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has returned to the field, but as of now, it will only be for practice.

FOX 29's Howard Eskin reports Vick will be the third string quarterback in Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Vick missed five games after he was injured in the game against the Dallas Cowboys back on November 11th.

Eskin says head coach Andy Reid wants the team's backup, Nick Foles, to gain more experience.

Vick, who came to Philly in 2009, has yet to play a full season with the Eagles.

The Eagles dropped their last game to the Cincinnati Bengals.
