Posted: Updated:

For the third time this week police are investigating an incident involving a possible serial fondler in Fairfax County.

Police say that the latest incident happened on Thursday, December 13 at around 5:45 p.m. in the 6000 block of Hibbling Avenue. A 43-year-old woman was walking when police say a man grabbed her from behind and touched her.

The woman turned and yelled at the man and he fled the area.

Investigators say the suspect wore a black jacket, black pants and was between 20 and 30 years old.

Earlier on Thursday, an incident involving a 23-year-old woman on Floyd Avenue near Erving Street was reported. That woman reported a man ran up behind her and fondled her before fleeing.

The first reported incidents occurred in early September of this year.
