LANHAM, Md. -
Prince George's County Police are investigating a murder in the 10100 block of Old Franklin Avenue in Lanham, Md.
Police received a call at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a shooting and arrived to find a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound just inside the front door of a house. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Investigators say this was not a random shooting and the victim and shooter knew each other.
A neighbor says the house where the victim was found is a rental and the landlord lives across the street. People have only been living in the house for a few months.
