D.C. police have been warning bicyclists since March not to ride the Metropolitan Branch Trail alone. And they stepped up patrols on the trail then too. But it didn't stop a group of teenagers from knocking a 37-year-old Silver Spring man off his bike Tuesday and savagely beating him.

WASHINGTON, DC -

The couple you're about to meet say there will be babies in their future.

But first, they have to get married. And a date like the one they chose won't roll around again for nearly another 90-years, their 12-12-12 wedding day.

Hilary Hemmatipour and Andre Campbell met in middle school. They were friends for years. In 2012, they began dating and they got married today - 12/12/12 - at D.C. Superior Court.

"First we're thinking his birthday and then it just dawned on us. 12/12/12. We have to do that," says Hemmatipour. They chose 12/12/12 because they think it might be lucky. And others agree.

Ten couples tied the knot at D.C Superior Court on this 12/12/12. That's twice as many as usual.

They were both born in D.C., but live in Adelphi, Maryland. There's a family dinner tonight, party of 12 maybe?
