DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Several injuries are being reported following a serious crash involving a DDOT bus and an SUV.

It happened in the area of Mack and St. Jean in Detroit. FOX 2 News crews on the scene report several people have been loaded on EMS rigs and have been taken to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known.

Investigators say preliminary information indicates the SUV was stopped on the side of the road and then rolled and flipped onto it's roof when it was rear-ended by the bus.
