SPRINGFIELD, Va. -
Police are investigating a possible twelfth incident involving a serial fondler in Springfield.
The latest incident happened on Tuesday, December 11 around 10:28 a.m.
A 49-year-old woman reported to police that she was running along Blarney Stone Drive near Omega Court when a man ran up behind her and fondled her.
The woman told officers she struck the attacker which caused him to flee.
The victim described the man as Hispanic, between 25 and 30 years old, around 5 feet 6 inches tall.
He wore a red cap, black jacket and blue, skinny jeans.
The first reported incidents happend early in September of this year.
