Prince George's County Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 14-year-old in Lewisdale.
Jose Luis Rodriguez-Nunez, 24, of Hyattsville, has been charged with second-degree murder and related charges.
Police responded to the 2200 block of Sheridan Street at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a shooting and found 14-year-old Eliezer Benjamin Reyes and another male suffering from gunshot wounds. Reyes was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other male victim in the shooting has been treated and released from the hospital.
Police say the two victims were walking with two others and someone from a vehicle shot them. Police say they have recovered the vehicle.
Investigators believe the shooting was gang-related.
