Aide at Maryland School for the Deaf charged with touching girls

COLUMBIA, Md. -

Howard County police have a charged an aide at the Maryland School for the Deaf with inappropriately touching three girls when they were students.

Thirty-seven-year-old Clarence Taylor of Windsor Mill was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor. He has been is suspended from his current job as a daytime teacher's aide at the school. Police do not know if Taylor has a lawyer.

Police say the alleged incidents occurred between 2008 and 2010, when Taylor was an evening-shift dorm aide. Investigators say the girls, one of whom was 10 when the alleged incidents occurred, said they were inappropriately touched numerous times.

Police say one of the girls recently reported the alleged incidents to a teacher.
