Being handed $10 just wasn't good enough for one thug.  Police say he attacked and robbed a man at a Long Island train station after being handed the initial money.

Police say it happened at about 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Mineola train station.

The 30-year-old victim says he had just used the ATM when he was approached by a man who asked for money.

He says he gave the man $10 but the man apparently didn't think that was enough.  He then demanded more money.  When the victim said "no" the suspect knocked him to the ground.

The victim says he handed the suspect another $40 before the thug ran away.  The victim was not hurt.

Nassau County police say the victim believes he was seen at the ATM by the attacker.

Police say the suspect is black, 5'10" tall and in his mid to late 20s.  He had braids or corn rows and was wearing a black hat, black jeans and a black and gray jacket.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  Police say all callers will remain anonymous.
