GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. -

A science experiment forced the evacuation of a building on Rowan University's campus Wednesday night.

SkyFOX flew over the area of Science Hall, where police say an oxygen tank ruptured around 8:30 p.m.

A police spokesperson tells FOX 29 one student suffered minor cuts to the face and was taken to Kennedy Memorial Hospital.

It's not clear how many students were inside of the lab at the time of the explosion.

Students have not been allowed back inside of the building until fire investigators can make sure it is safe.
