Gum health can affect your sex life, study says

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Can flossing your teeth affect your sex life? A Turkish study says yes.

The study found that men in their 30s with severe periodontal disease are more than three times as likely to suffer from erectile problems than those with healthy gums.

Some doctors disagree with the study, saying erectile dysfunction is caused by multiple factors.

The study says there is not a direct cause-and-effect between the two but that there is a correlation.
