Lockheed Martin relocating 560 jobs from Ga. to Texas

Posted: Updated:

Lockheed Martin announced on Monday that it will relocate about 560 F-22 jobs from Cobb County to Fort Worth, Texas next year.

The company says nearly all the non-production employees will have the opportunity to keep their current positions if they transfer.

They say workers who choose not to relocate will be able to continue to work in Marietta until their responsibilities transition to Texas.

The company expects the move will save the company $250 million over five years.
