Kate Major, girlfriend of Michael Lohan, talks about the arrest of her boyfriend's daughter, troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan.
" The phone rang at 4 am this week. The person told Michael Lindsay was in jail. He jumped out of bed.
Lohan, 26, was arrested for allegedly punching another woman in the face following a dispute at Chelsea nightclub Avenue.
Good Day NY asked Major, who is eight months pregnant, why her notoriously publicity seeking boyfriend won't stay out of the spotlight:
"All I know is that Michael has tried to privately help her. He's set up interventions to do it privately It's now to the point that he's so afraid that he's going to get a call that she's not alive," answered Major.
Lohan has had several runs in with the law.
"I want the best for Lindsay. I feel terrible for her. I agree everyone should go about quietly."
