Costco opens first store in DC - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

The District of Columbia's first Costco has opened.

The wholesale chain opened its store in northwest Washington on Thursday. The 154,000-square-foot store is on Market Street NE near the intersection of New York Avenue and South Dakota Avenue. Membership costs $55 a year.

Costco has more than 600 stores worldwide including approximately 450 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.
