Seven students and a teacher were injured after a science experiment went wrong at a middle school in Carlisle, Pennsylvania Thursday.
According to emergency responders, 25 eighth graders at Wilson Middle School were watching the experiment, when it erupted into a fireball.
The teacher put the flames out with a fire extinguisher.
One student is still in the hospital. The others were treated and released.

There may be some showers around tonight as we stay mostly cloudy and humid. Clouds hang on Saturday with some early rain but it'll turn much cooler and less humid throughout the day. High temperatures will only be in the low to mid 70s.
The sun returns for the second half of the weekend with a breezy and nice Sunday. Temperatures slowly warm next week as we enjoy days of sunshine and pleasant late summer weather.
