2 Hurt When Car, PennDOT Truck Collide On Route 422

UPPER PROVIDENCE, Pa. -

Eastbound Route 422 has reopened after a crash in Montgomery County that involved a car and a PennDOT truck.

SkyFOX flew over the scene after the crash, which was reported before 10:30 a.m. in Upper Providence, between the Royersford and Collegeville exits.

Two people were initially trapped following the collision, but both were rescued and taken to Phoenixville Hospital with injuries that were described as being serious but not life-threatening.

Route 422's eastbound lanes reopened around 12:15 p.m.
