A bus carrying children collided with two other cars in northwest Washington, injuring five people, including three youths.
The accident happened Monday morning.
A D.C. fire department spokesman says say two adults and three youths were taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated. The spokesman says none of the injuries are believed to be serious. Sixteen other youths were transported to the hospital for observation.
The bus was an approximately 35-passenger vehicle operated by the Virginia-based the Reston Limousine. Chief operating officer Tony Simon said Monday that the vehicle was taking students to the private Field School in Washington. A spokesman for the school says all 18 students have been released, and all but one returned to school before the end of classes.
