PHILADELPHIA -

The nation's oldest Thanksgiving Parade is underway in Philadelphia Thursday morning, as hundreds of people have gathered along the 1.4 mile route to start the holiday.

The parade, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon, is considered to be a true Philadelphia tradition.

The parade starts at 20th and Market streets, then runs along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
