Researchers at the University of Illinois have created a Twitter heat map.

Researchers analyze Tweets from people across the US and then add values to them for level of emotion.

Those values translate to the colors on the map.

Not surprising, Tweets during Superstorm Sandy created the angriest tweets in the northeast.
