Jasmine Hassell scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead No. 10 Georgia Sunday to a 70-38 rout of Belmont, her mother's alma mater.
Hassell's mother, the former Gail Corder, was the all-time leading scorer at Belmont when she finished her college career in 1984. She still ranks fourth in career scoring with 1,814 points.
Jasmine James added 10 points for Georgia (4-0).
Vanderbilt transfer Jordan Coleman led Belmont with nine points and 11 rebounds.
Belmont led 2-0 after senior Coleman hit a jumper from the left wing, but the Lady Dogs scored the next 19 points to start a 31-2 run that gave Georgia 31-4 lead at 6:11 when James converted layup off a steal and feed from Shacobia Barbee.
Georgia led 40-12 at halftime. It's largest lead came with 12:24 to play when Marjorie Butler hit a short jumper to put the Lady Dogs up 55-23.
