Nancy Kovacevich says her family is devastated. They've spent the past week passing out fliers and searching frantically for their six year old dog .
"We are anxious, we are worried and we cant figure out where she could be," said Nancy. Razzie, the part Bichon Frise and part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel disappeared from the front yard of its Newtown home on Woodhill Road Sunday afternoon.
Nancy said, "I really want to believe someone took the dog because they were protecting her, they thought she was lost, she was wandering and they didn't want her to get hit by a car." She said a neighbor told her he saw a dark colored SUV stop in front of the house and that a man and woman got out, put Razzie in the car and sped off.
"This Alvin The Chipmunk is what she always throws around the house," said little Daniel as he sifted through Razzie's toys. Her bowls are still out back and her bed is untouched since the last time she was in it. The family wants desperately to get her back.
"It's been really hard. I don't know that anyone understands how much a dog is part of your family. We're heart sick about it," said Nancy.
They family is offering a 500 dollar reward for Razzie's safe return. Call Upper Makefield Police if you know anything.
