HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -- 60 soldiers have come home from war just in time for the holidays.

The men and women of B Company 3238th of the Army National Guard served our country honorably for twelve months in the Afghan theater.  They were reunited with their loved ones Friday at Selfridge Air National Guard Base.

"It was an experience that we won't soon forget," said Chief Warrant Officer Eric Tupa.  "It's still a dangerous and hazardous area (where) a lot of things happen, and you just do the best (you) can to be as safe as you can over there and hopefully everybody comes home safe."

Thanks and respect, soldiers.
