Lenny Bent from 'Cookin' With Lenny' was here with advice on making tailgating food for this weekend's game.
Lenny's first tip is to use a smoking packet. That's a few soaked wood chips wrapped in foil, which gives you that smokey barbecue flavor without having to buy a special grill.
Lenny's second tip is to get a pocket thermometer. Lenny says spending $5 on a thermometer will ensure you get the right internal cooking temperature so your food won't be raw and undercooked, or tough and overcooked.
Lenny's third tip is to make your mac and cheese into a sandwich. It's a big hit at Lenny's restaurant, and it will save you from having to bring extra bowls and spoons to your tailgating party.
Lenny just opened a new restaurant in Chatsworth:
