WASHINGTON -
A high school principal who allegedly took part in the assault of a former staff member has been placed on administrative leave after turning herself in to police.
Thelma Jarrett, who was principal of Coolidge High School in Washington, D.C., faces assault charges after allegedly assaulting a former school worker at football game earlier this month.
District of Columbia Public Schools says they have also placed two other staff members involved in the investigation on leave.
