PG Deputy shoots man after attempting to serve protection order

RIVERDALE, Md. -

A Prince George's Sheriff's Deputy shot and killed a man Wednesday around 7pm. The deputy was attempting to serve a protection order.

The deputy had entered a house at 6312 63rd Ave in Riverdale when a suspect came up behind the deputy with a gun

The deputy opened fire striking the individual. That person died in route to the Hospital.
