Ga. Department of Education launches campaign

Posted: Updated:
BUFORD, Ga. -

The George Department of Education has launched a new campaign to prepare students for what comes after graduation.

Georgia's Future Now initiative was created to keep everyone involved in education on the same page.

The program was announced on Tuesday at Twin Rivers Middle School in Buford.

There will now be a one-stop shop for teachers to research topics as well as a way students can make sure they have valuable information needed when they go to college or enter their careers.

The state school superintendent says students are our future and vital decisions should be based on preparing them for theirs.
