WASHINGTON -

Super-storm sandy proved to be a scrooge for some Christmas Tree farmers in Western Maryland.

Thousands of Christmas Trees were destroyed in Garrett County when they were buried by more than two feet of snow.

The Pinetum Christmas Tree Farm specializes in extra-tall trees, which sell for up to $6000 a piece.

They're now giving refunds to places that ordered trees like the CIA Headquarters, the US Botanic Garden and Old Town Alexandria.
