83-Year Old Upper Merion Man Victim Of Home Invasion

Posted: Updated:

"It's a secluded neighborhood. There's not a lot of traffic going by. It's really unnerving," said Glenn Marinaccio. He and others on the 400 block of Upper Gulf Road in Upper Merion describe the worrisome scene they came home to Monday afternoon.

"When we came home we saw police eight police cars and an ambulance. That was shocking. We walked over and police asked us if we saw a black car which we didn't see," said Marinaccio who says his 83-year old neighbor is the man police say is the victim of a home invasion that happened around three o'clock. Police say two men knocked on the door of the home, the victim answered and was hit in the head and face with a gun.

The suspects got away with valuables from the home. Police say they drove off in a black sedan with chromed wheels and no license plate. Call Upper Merion Police if you have any information about the incident.
