Former councilman Kwame Brown to be sentenced

WASHINGTON -

Former D.C. councilman Kwame Brown will learn his fate Tuesday.

Brown is set to be sentenced for bank fraud and campaign finance violation charges.

He resigned from his council seat in June and is facing one in year in jail.

Prosecutors are urging the judge to sentence him to six days in jail and three years supervised release.
