KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. -

Music and history were part of a Sunday celebration to honor America's veterans at the Valley Forge National Historical Park.

Living history interpreters and volunteers helped to bring to life the story of the nation's first veterans at the Muhlenbrerg Brigade.

The Sunday event also included a wreath laying ceremony, coordinated in part by The Friends of Valley Forge Park.

Park officials say the Valley Forge National Historical Park is considered to be the birthplace of the United States Army. Officials say it was at the park that General George Washington's army was first trained under the command of General von Steuben.
