Two women sexually assaulted and robbed in Northeast

Police are searching for suspects after an attack on two women in Northeast D.C. Police say they were sexually assaulted and robbed along the 1000 Block of 48th Street NE just before one o'clock a.m. Saturday.

The suspects made off with several items including a cell phone. There is a vague lookout for five black males. They were driving in two vehicles. One was red in color, but police didn't have any information on the make or model.

(Washington, DC) The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating four suspects wanted in connection with a sexual assault, an abduction, and a series of robberies that took place between Friday, November 9 and the early morning of Saturday, November 10, 2012.

In each case, women were targeted. The suspects are described as four males in their late teens or early 20s.

They were driving an older model, box-style red Nissan Maxima.

The dates and locations of the incidents are as follows.
 Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 11:45 pm, 300 block of 63rd Street, NE 
 Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at midnight, 4700 block of Minnesota Avenue, NE 
 Saturday, Nov.10, 2012, at 12:40 am, 4400 block of Gault Place, NE
 Saturday, Nov.10, 2012, at 1 am, 4800 block of Sheriff Road, NE
