SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- A number of restaurant chains are offering veterans and active duty military free meals this Veterans Day weekend as a thanks for their service and sacrifice.

Applebees: Free Applebees Signature Entree on Nov. 11.
California Pizza Kitchen: Free pizza and drink on Nov. 11 and 12.

Golden Corral: Free dinner between 4pm - 9pm. on Nov. 12.
