Man hospitalized after house fire in Glenn Dale - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

A Prince George's County man is recovering after being burned when his home caught fire.

The flames broke out around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at the house along Northern Avenue in Glenn Dale.

Nearly 60 firefighters were called out to the scene and it took about an hour to put out the blaze.

The victim, in his 50s, was taken to a burn unit in good condition.

His home is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
