Police investigate accident that left car in flames, 1 dead - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

D.C. Police are investigating a deadly accident that happened after a car crashed and burst into flames in 1400 block of Brentwood Parkway in northeast Washington.

Officers located the burning vehicle, a four-door Lincoln taxi cab, at around 9:07 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the car had run off the driveway and into a fence.

After firefighters extinguished the fire, they found a man dead inside the vehicle.

Detectives are investigating what caused the accident.
