Coders and hackers gathered in Chevy Chase for the Hackathon - DC Breaking Local News Weather Sports FOX 5 WTTG

The Digital Capital Festival Week is underway in D.C. It's focused on bringing together designers, developers and entrepreneurs. One event called a "Hackathon" wrapped up in Chevy Chase this evening. Developers had 24 hours to create web or mobile applications. The winners received $5,000 in cash and other prizes. DC week continues through November 9th. Join the twitter conversation #DCWEEK.
