Eagles Center Kelce Shaves Beard For Good Cause

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

The most productive part of the day at the Eagles may have been injured center Jason Kelce shaving his beard, FOX 29's Howard Eskin reported Thursday.

Kelce had been growing the beard since February. He decided to shave it for a non-profit called "Movember" for men's health awareness.

It's all about the mustache now, so the beard had to go.

"The power of the beard has been rendered useless on the field," Kelce said. "So, in a way of trying to do the best thing possible for all of humanity, I have decided to shave my beard and leave my mustache and let it grow throughout November."

The website is Movember.com if you'd like more information or to donate.
