WASHINGTON -
Two more members of a violent group police believe were attacking people on the streets of D.C. have been arrested.
D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier made the announcement on WTOP Radio Thursday morning.
The group has been connected to the attack on TC Maslin near Eastern Market in August and several other similar crimes.
Maslin was found unconscious after he was beaten and robbed of his cell phone. Since the attack, he has undergone several surgeries.
Police don't believe the two recent suspects were connected to the Maslin beating, but they were involved in other similar crimes.
Lanier believes the group was carrying out the attacks for several months, and it appears the group so far can be linked to nine different robberies and assaults.
D.C. Police would not release the names or ages of the most recent suspects arrested.
Three other members of the group were arrested and faced a judge last month in connection to the attack on Maslin.
