ATLANTA -

A new show filmed in Atlanta and coming soon to FOX 5 took part in Halloween festivities on Wednesday.

In anticipation of FOX's new psychological thriller "The Following," so-called "followers" took to the streets of Little Five Points on Halloween.

Their bizarre get-ups captured plenty of attention with explicit phrases such as "Even serial killers have friends," and "Do I look like a killer?"

The premise of the show follows a psychotic cult leader who brings together hundreds of serial killers to activate a cult following.

FOX 5's own Tom Haynes will appear in one of the series episodes.

Similar promotions took place in more than a half dozen other cities.

"The Following," which stars Kevin Bacon, premieres January 21 on FOX 5.
