Downed wires catch fire in northwest

WASHINGTON -

Crews in D.C. responded to downed wires that caught on fire in the northwest Wednesday morning.

The incident happened in the 4500 block of Macomb Street.

The wires caught some leaves and trees on fire.

Power has now been cut off and the flames are out.
