Several Major Philly Roads Closed As Sandy Approaches

HARRISBURG, Pa. -

Several major roadways in the Philadelphia area, including I-76 and I-95 are set to close at 7 p.m. as Hurricane Sandy begins to approach the area.

Gov. Corbett says I-76, I-476, I-676, I-95 and Route 1 are scheduled to close at 7 p.m.

The roads are scheduled to remain closed until 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The announcement came during Corbett's 6 p.m. Hurricane Sandy briefing.
