Girls' state singles champ Keisha Clousing from Wheaton Warrenville South is this Friday's Prep Star of the Week.
Keisha competed in the championship match this past Saturday versus Hinsdale Central's Alex Solovyev this past Saturday.
Keisha lost in the semi-finals a year ago, but she was not denied this time. She won it 6-4, 6-1, after surviving two three-set marathons to get to the finals.
Keisha is ranked among the top 20 juniors in the country. Last summer she made it to the finals of the USTA Girls 16 National Clay Court Championships.
Congrats to Keisha and her coach at Wheaton Warrenville South, Patti Clousing, who just happens to be Keisha's mom!
