Water Rescue Crews Save Man From Schuylkill River

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Rescue crews in Philadelphia saved a man from the cold waters of the Schuylkill River early Friday morning.

They found him in the water, clinging to the side of a bridge on JFK Boulevard just after 3 a.m.

Rescue workers threw a life-saver down to him, and pulled him out of the frigid waters.

They say he was alert when they got to him, but he was being taken to the hospital to be checked out.
