He says Cooper has repeatedly denied his requests for information and meetings. And he thinks they're the prosecutor's office is overlooking a key suspect, Christopher Bush. He's a convicted pedophile who happened to be the son of a well-connected auto executive. Bush committed suicide in the late 70s.

"I would never be satisfied that you can close the case as to Bush until somebody, and the only person who believes he wasn't involved, Jessica Cooper will tell me why she arrived at those conclusions," King said. And he's not alone.

Paul Hughes represents Debbie Jarvis, the mother of Kristie Mihalik. They've filed a federal lawsuit alleging this case has been and is being mishandled. "Why won't Jessica Cooper give him an answer about Christopher Bush? It's a very simple question" Jarvis said.

But Cooper says her staff has always been available to mister King. "We've spoken to him 27 times," of the years.  Prosecutor Jessica Cooper says over the past 4 years her office has worked hard on this case while balancing nearly 70 thousand others. But what about Christopher Bush? Cooper said, "For me, I deal with live, living suspects. I can't prosecute someone who is deceased." But King says he wants the case solved and doesn't care where it comes from.

This is still an open investigation and Cooper tells FOX 2 tips are still coming in.
