Person killed in accident in Annandale

ANNANDALE, Va. -

A person was killed in an accident in northern Virginia.

The accident happened early Thursday on Backlick Road in Annandale.

One car flipped over, though it's unclear exactly how that happened.

Backlick Road, between John Marr Drive and Little River Turnpike, was closed for several hours but is now open.
