Pair of bandits rob Waterford liquor and wine shop

WATERFORD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Waterford are hunting for a pair of bandits with a taste for cigarettes and rum.

Officers say they responded to call about the Plaza Liquor and Wine Shop at 4265 Dixie and found the store's glass front door had been smashed. Once inside officers reviewed the stores video surveillance system and discovered that two people entered the store and stole a large amount of Newport cigarettes and 1/2 pint bottles of Bacardi liquor.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20's, wearing a black coat with red sleeves, a black baseball hat with a red bill and logo. The second suspect is also a white male in his late teens to early 20's, wearing a black coat with white lettering or a logo on the back, a red shirt under a coat and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Wateford Police at 248-618-7515 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
