Traffic backup before the Bay Bridge tolls
Drivers stuck in traffic before the Bay Bridge tolls
WASHINGTON -
All lanes of the Bay Bridge have reopened after a tanker truck leaking propane shut down lanes in both directions on Tuesday.
The Maryland Transportation Authority says the tanker truck was leaking on the westbound side of U.S. 50 just prior to the Bay Bridge. The incident began around 3:30 p.m.
The tanker is no longer leaking. The cause of the leak is unknown at this time.
Delays are expected throughout the evening.
