MYFOXNY.COM -

The no.1 subway line was suspended in both directions between 96th and 168th Streets in Harlem due to police activity earlier Tuesday.

A man was struck and killed by a train after he lept in front of it around 5:30 a.m. at the 137th Street and Broadway train station.

Straphangers were encouraged to use the M3, M100 bus or the A train.

The MTA says commuters should expect residual delays on the 1 and 3 lines.
