CANTON, Ga. -
Get Up and Go's destination is about 40 miles north of Atlanta in Cherokee County. It's the 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival in historic downtown Canton.
There will be arts and crafts and live music, face painting and hayrides, and trick or treating at local merchants. Then, at 2 p.m., it's the kid's Halloween costume contest and parade.
There will be plenty of scarecrows around the square, and you can vote for your favorite through the end of this month.
The 4th Annual Great Pumpkin Festival will be held this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. on the square in historic downtown Canton. Admission is free!
