
Prince George's County Police say speed racing is the cause of a serious crash.
Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit and run in Adelphi that left a 21-year-old man in critical condition.
It happened Saturday afternoon around 3:15 p.m.
Police say two cars were seen racing near University Boulevard and Riggs Road.
A pedestrian was hit as he stepped into the road. Officers say that vehicle kept going. The second vehicle crashed and that driver was arrested.
This is the second crash linked to speed racing in Prince George's County within the last two days.
Friday night, a car crashed into a Metrobus in Seat Pleasant. A passenger in the car was killed and eight Metrobus passengers were injured.
